NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. -- The Allegheny College women's lacrosse team earned its third consecutive Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) win on Thursday night, as the Gators beat Westminster College by a 17-3 final score on the road.
The Titans (2-8, 0-3 PAC) took a 2-1 lead thanks to two early goals from Emma Brazier, but the Gators (8-3, 3-0 PAC) held Westminster off the scoreboard for next 43 minutes. Allegheny didn't allow any goals in the second and third quarters, while the offense rattled off 14 unanswered tallies.
Eight different Gators scored a goal, led by
Senna Perelman (Cleveland, Ohio/Cleveland Heights), who recorded a game-high eight points (5g-3a). The senior midfielder also finished four draw controls, four ground balls, and three caused turnovers.
Grace Baginski (Lakeville, N.Y./Our Lady of Mercy) handed out a team-high four assists as part of a six-point performance.
Lauren Petrarca (Simi Valley, Calif./Royal) and
Liz Dolan (Pittsburgh, Pa./Hampton) each netted hat tricks, and
Emily Herrold (Hampstead, Md./Manchester Valley) earned multiple points with one goal and one assist.
