PITTSBURGH, Pa. -- The Allegheny College women's lacrosse team rolled to another Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) victory on Wednesday evening, as the Gators took down Chatham University by a score of 18-6.
The Gators (11-3, 6-0 PAC) never trailed against the Cougars (8-3, 4-2 PAC), as Allegheny did the majority of its damage in the opening half. With eight goals in the first quarter and seven in the second, the Gators led 15-4 at halftime but added only three more goals in the second half.
Senna Perelman (Cleveland, Ohio/Cleveland Heights) was one of eight players to earn a point and paced all Gators in both points (8) and draw controls (7).
Lauren Petrarca (Simi Valley, Calif./Royal) found the back of the net on five occasions, and
Ashley Amato (Westerly, R.I./Westerly) contributed four points (2g-2a).
Grace Baginski (Lakeville, N.Y./Our Lady of Mercy) and
Ema Caragein (Pittsburgh, Pa./Seton La Salle) each netted a pair of goals, while
Emily Herrold (Hampstead, Md./Manchester Valley),
Kennedy Kyle (Seven Fields, Pa./Seneca Valley), and
Liz Dolan (Pittsburgh, Pa./Hampton) potted one apiece.
