MEADVILLE, Pa. – The Allegheny men's tennis team continued to run perfect in the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) as they defeated Saint Vincent 9-0 Saturday (April 15).
The first doubles team of
David Rodriguez (St. Ann's, Trinidad and Tobago/Fatima College) and
Ethan Carr (King of Prussia/Harriton) won 8-0. The second doubles team of
Julien Voisey (Tokyo, Japan/ES International School) and
Guillaume Emiliano Loinard-Gonzalez (Morelia, Michoacan, Mexico/Universidad Jefferson Morelia) captured the match 8-4. The third doubles team of
Nathan Kisiel (Erie, Pa./Fairview) and
Evan Nelson (Scituate, Mass./Scituate) finished the doubles sweep with an 8-2 win.
Adam Shinomiya (Portland, Ore./International School of Beaverton) at second and Rodriguez and fourth singles each had 6-0, 6-0 wins.
Carr at first, Voisy at third and Nelson at sixth all won with identical 6-1, 6-1 scores.
Will Jarvie (Wilton Conn./Wilton) picked up a 6-0, 6-2 win at fifth singles.
