DELAWARE, Ohio – The Allegheny women's lacrosse team dropped a nonconference road game at Ohio Wesleyan, 16-8, Wednesday (March 22).

The Gators started the game on a 3-0 run. Senna Perelman (Cleveland, Ohio/Cleveland Heights) scored the game's first goal off an assist by Grace Baginski (Lakeville, N.Y./Our Lady of Mercy). A few minutes later, Perelman scored on a free-position shot to make it 2-0. Less than a minute later, Baginski scored the third goal for the Gators. The Battling Bishops scored twice to close out the opening quarter, narrowing the gap to 3-2.

Ohio Wesleyan gained control of the game during the second quarter. However, the Battling Bishops outscored the Gators 5-2 to take a 7-5 lead heading into halftime.
