OBERLIN, Ohio – The Allegheny men's tennis team fell on the road to Oberlin, 6-3, Wednesday (March 1) in nonconference action.
The Gators' three wins all came in the first three flights of singles action.
At first singles,
Anton Hedlund (Hovas, Sweden/Katrinelundsgymnasiet) won by a score of 7-6 (7-5), 6-2.
Ethan Carr (King of Prussia, Pa./Harriton) had a close match at second singles. After dropping the first set 6-1, Carr bounced back with a 6-2 win in the second set. The third set was tight, but Carr prevailed 7-5 for the win.
Adam Shinomiya (Portland, Ore./International School of Beaverton) captured both third singles sets with 6-3 scores.
