MEADVILLE, Pa. – The Allegheny field hockey team wrapped up a weekend North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) home doubleheader against DePauw Sunday (Oct. 8), falling to the Tigers 3-0.
DePauw (9-3, 6-0 NCAC) got on the scoreboard midway through the first quarter, scoring on a shot from a pass right in front of the net. The Tigers added to the lead late in the second, capitalizing on a penalty stroke attempt to lead 2-0 at the break.
The third quarter saw a pair of DePauw goals as they extended their lead to 4-0.
Neither team found the back of the net in the fourth as DePauw picked up the conference win.
