LATROBE, Pa. -- Allegheny College women's swimming and diving fell to Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) foe Saint Vincent College by a final score of 149-75 on Friday night at the Frank and Elizabeth Resnick Pool in Latrobe, Pennsylvania.

The Gators were victorious in five events, including their lone relay swim against the Bearcats. Allegheny also had four runner-up performances, as the Gators had a first- or second-place performance in seven of the 10 events in which they competed.

Olivia Kraus (Pittsburgh, Pa./North Allegheny) played a big role in Allegheny's success on Friday, as the senior won all three of her events. In addition to a close win in the 200-yard freestyle over Saint Vincent's Rachel Hutchinson, Kraus placed first ahead of teammate Anna Kohler (Sewickley, Pa./Avonworth) in the 100-yard butterfly. Kraus also swam the butterfly in the 400-yard medley relay with Katya Pryshchenko (Berwyn, Pa./Aim Academy), Josephine Reiter (Pittsburgh, Pa./CAPA), and Leah Frase (Madison, Ohio/Madison), helping AC beat the Bearcats by more than 52 seconds with a time of 4:24.45.

For the second meet in a row, Reiter won the 200-yard breaststroke with a lead of nearly one-and-a-half seconds. Allegheny's other first-place performance came from Kohler, who was the only competitor to swim the 200-yard butterfly.
