STEUBENVILLE, Ohio – The Allegheny men's soccer team suffered a 2-0 setback in Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) action at Franciscan Saturday (October 21).
The two Baron goals came early in the game. Lucas Cross scored the opening goal just thirty seconds in. The second goal came off the foot of Jonathan Schriner in the 10th minute.
The Gators put up a fight the rest of the way, outshooting the Barons by a 20-11 margin. They also owned a 6-1 advantage on corner opportunities. However, the Gators were unable to find the back of the net as they fell 2-0.

- Of the 20 shots, five were on target with several going just wide or high.
- Gunnar Brettell (Steubenville, Ohio/Indian Creek), Will Gruca (Baden, Pa./Ambridge), Brady Napoleon (Pittsburgh, Pa./Mount Lebanon), Henry Rosenberg (Pittsburgh, Pa./Allderdice) and Aidan Dyga (Wexford, Pa./North Allegheny) put shots on target.
- Brettell, Napoleon and Jose Cifuentes (Guatemala City, Guatemala/Kiski Prep (Pa.)) totaled three shots each.
- Caleb Kendra (Beaver Falls, Pa./Riverside) made three stops in goal.

- This marked just the second game between the two teams with the first ending in a draw.
