MEADVILLE, Pa. -- First-year head coach Jerry Diamond is pleased to announce the 2023-24 schedule for the Allegheny College men's and women's swimming and diving teams.

Action begins when the Allegheny women host Franciscan University this weekend on Saturday, October 14, at 1:00 p.m. in the 2023 season opener. It's the only dual meet of the season that does not include both the men's and women's teams competing together.

The next two weekends feature back-to-back contests. On Friday, October 20, the Gators will compete in a tri-meet at Washington and Jefferson College. The following afternoon, Allegheny returns to the Mellon Pool to host Grove City College at 1:00 p.m. On Friday, October 27, and Saturday, October 28, the Gators will travel to Saint Vincent College and Clarion University, respectively.

The Gators will make their annual trip to Oberlin College for the mid-season Oberlin Invitational, a three-day meet that kicks off on Wednesday, November 15.

Following the holiday break, AC has three regular-season meets, highlighted by the home finale against Chatham on Saturday, January 13.

The 2023-24 Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Championships, hosted by Grove City, are scheduled from Wednesday, February 14, through Saturday, February 18. This winter marks Allegheny's second season back in the PAC after a lengthy tenure in the North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC). In 2022-23, both teams placed fourth in the conference, while the women's team won three individual PAC championships.

As previously announced by the PAC, both Gator swim teams were picked fourth in the annual men's preseason coaches' poll and women's preseason coaches' poll.
