GROVE CITY, Pa. -- The Allegheny College women's soccer team suffered a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) loss to the conference-leading Wolverines from Grove City College by a 6-1 final score on Wednesday night at Don Lyle Field.
The Wolverines (8-4-1, 5-0-1 PAC) proved why they currently sit atop the conference standings with a strong offensive performance. Grove City scored four times in a span of six minutes in the first half, as the Wolverines grabbed the early lead and never looked back.
Although Grove City had its sights set on a clean sheet, the Gators spoiled the shutout attempt with a goal in the 87th minute.

It was one of four shots the Gators (4-9-0, 2-4-0 PAC) put on goal in the second half. Miller nearly doubled her scoring output in the final seconds of the contest, but her last-second shot was saved by Grove City keeper Courtney Lisman.
