GAMBIER, Ohio – The Allegheny women's tennis team fell in the opening round of the North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) Championships Friday (April 29) to Denison.
The Big Red, ranked fifth in the central region, swept the three doubles flights before victories at fourth and fifth singles clinched the match.
The Gators will play in the seventh-place match Saturday (April 30) against Ohio Wesleyan. Earlier in the spring, the Gators defeated the Battling Bishops 7-2.
