MEADVILLE, Pa. – The Allegheny men's lacrosse team dropped a nonconference decision against future Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) foe Saint Vincent by a 15-3 count at Frank B. Fuhrer Field.
For the Gators,
Aidan D'Amato (Tolland, Conn./Tolland) scored a pair of goals to mark his sixth multi-goal effort of the season, while
Pete Schellbach (New York, N.Y./Salisbury School) notched his third tally of the year. D'Amato's 10 shots paced the squad, while
CT Graniel (Scranton, Pa./Scranton Preparatory),
Nicholas Cimillo (Palm Harbor, Fla./East Lake) and
Jack Cushwa (Martinsburg, W. Va./Martinsburg) turned in six, four and three shots, respectively.
Schellbach's seven ground balls marked a new career high and was one off the game high.
Cassady Bouthet (Vernon, Conn./Rockville) scooped up five ground balls and D'Amato and
Ryan Mantione (East Northport, N.Y./John Glenn) accounted for four GBs apiece. Additionally, Bouthet registered a game-best three caused turnovers and
Dillon D'Amato (Tolland, Conn./Tolland) knocked away two.
David Kratzenberg (Latrobe, Pa./Greensburg Central Catholic) matched his career high set last time out against Kenyon by making 15 saves in 60 minutes.
The Gators return to North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) action and will hit the road for a Saturday, April 2 match at Wabash.
