The Gators were first put on the board by

Grace Baginski (Lakeville, N.Y./Our Lady of Mercy) and
Emily Herrold (Hampstead, MD./Machester Valley), respectively, along with two shots finding the back of the cage from
Senna Perelman (Cleveland, Ohio/Cleveland Heights) made it a 5-4 Allegheny lead to head into halftime.
In the third quarter, Transylvania tied the game at 5-5 before Herrold knocked in the go-ahead goal, which highlighted a four-point frame. Allegheny then added six points in the final 15 minutes of play to finish off the Pioneers.
Overall, Perelman paced the Blue and Gold with six goals along with a team-high three assists, and four caused turnovers. Meanwhile, Baginski and Herrold each achieved the hat trick in the contest to add to the Gators' scoring total. Additionally,
Maddie Miller (Bethel Park, Pa./Bethel Park) and
Devin Gaffney (Rochester, N.Y./Our Lady of Mercy) both knocked in a shot past the opposing netminder as well. Allegheny also compiled its sixth straight double-digit performance this year and has outscored the competition 88-46.
Other contributors included Perelman and
