HILTON HEAD, S.C. -- The Allegheny women's tennis team fell 5-4 in a non-conference matchup on Tuesday (March 22). 
 
The Gators won their fourth, fifth, and sixth singles matchup. Katherine Stancil (Gibsonia, Pa./Pine-Richaldn) and Jean-Arlette Legrand (San Juan, Puerto Rico/Commonwealth Parkland School) swept their opponents while Noelle Kidd (Broadview Heights, Ohio/North Royalton) came out on top in three sets. Additionally, Ella Swan (Nashville, Tenn./Hume-Fogg Academic) and Legrand took the first doubles matchup 8-5.
 
Allegheny takes on Augustana at 11 a.m. tomorrow, Wednesday, March 23.
