LATROBE, Pa. – A trio of first half goals helped the Allegheny men's soccer team cruise to a 3-0 victory over Saint Vincent on the road in President's Athletic Conference (PAC) play Tuesday (Oct. 18).
The Gators scored their first goal of the game in the 16th minute.
Brady Napoleon (Pittsburgh, Pa./Mount Lebanon) headed a throw in towards
Zane Ingram (Pittsburgh, Pa./Fox Chapel). Ingram then headed the pass inside the near post for the goal.
Allegheny needed just six more minutes to score their second goal. Napoleon struck this time as he booted a deflection off the goalkeeper to the back of the net, making it 2-0 Allegheny.
The lead grew to 3-0 in the 40th minute. In a quick sequence,
Cliff Weaver (Silver Spring, Md./Albert Einstein) passed the ball to
Gunnar Brettell (Steubenville, Ohio/Indian Creek), who sent it down the line to
Cam Kaminski (Bowling Green, Ohio/Maumee Valley Country Day). Kaminski struck the ball from about 15 yards out, under the crossbar, for the third goal of the half.

- Ingram scored in the 16th minute off an assist by Napoleon.
- Napoleon scored in the 22nd minute, unassisted.
- Kaminski scored in the 40th minute on a double assist from Brettell and Weaver.
- Gabe Anthony (Tarentum, Pa./Highlands) made three saves to earn the shutout win in net.
- The Gators outshot the Bearcats 23-10.
