LATROBE, Pa. -- The Allegheny volleyball team concluded play at the Saint Vincent Bearcat Challenge Saturday (Sept. 4) against Pitt-Greensburg.

The Gators picked up the win 3-0 (25-13, 25-14, 25-17). The win moves the Gators to 2-2 on the season.
 
Kendall Crum (Chattanooga, Tenn./Girls Preparatory) led all players with 11 kills. Dagney Javes (Frederick, Colo./Dawson School) added seven kills.  Cheyenne Wilson (Chico, Calif./Pleasant Valley) and Emma Chambers (Stoutville, Ohio/Amanda Clearcreek) had six and five kills, respectively.  Olivia D'Andrea (Pittsburgh, Pa./Serra Catholic) led the Gators with 17 assists and five aces.
 
Defensively, Taylor Besch (Chicago, Ill./Resurrection) led the team with 16 digs.  Wilson was not far behind with 13 digs.  
 
The Gators are back in action Wednesday (Sept. 8) when they travel to La Roche.
