MEADVILLE, Pa. -- The Allegheny men's soccer team returned to Meadville Saturday (Sept. 18) for a nonconference game against Fredonia.
 
A Fredonia goal in the 20th minute proved to be the lone one of the game as the Gators fell 1-0. The loss drops the Gators to 3-3 for the season.
 
Nicholas Taliani (Cheswick, Pa./Springdale), Shane Lisman (Mars, Pa./Mars Area), Dave Andersen (Kingston, Wash./Kingston) and Chris Andolina (Pittsford, N.Y./Pittsford Sutherland) had shots on target for the Gators.
 
Jack Barron-Sluga (Guelph, Ont./Appleby College) made eight saves in net.
 
Allegheny will travel to Pittsburgh on Tuesday, Sept. 21 to take on Carnegie Mellon in nonconference action at 7:30 p.m. before kicking off North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) play on Saturday, Sept. 25 at Kenyon.
