MEADVILLE, Pa. -- With an eye on making athletics events at Allegheny College a fun and exciting experience for fans, students and student-athletes alike, the Department of Athletics and Recreation has announced that it will no longer charge admission for all Gators' regular-season sporting events.
Â
"We want to make sure that anyone who wishes to enjoy the atmosphere at any of our 23 NCAA Division III varsity contests is able to do so freely," said
Bill Ross, director of athletics and recreation. "Our student-athletes and coaches continue to work tirelessly to excel in their areas of competition and we want to continue to showcase their talents to the community at large."
Â
This policy takes place just as Allegheny is set to welcome fans back for the 2021-22 academic year. With guidance from the Allegheny College Health Agency (ACHA), please continue to check for the most up-to-date fan policies on

Â
Due to both North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) and NCAA policies, admission will still be charged at postseason events, where applicable.
Â
Allegheny will continue to provide high-definition live web streaming for as many sporting events as possible throughout the school year free of charge for those unable to attend the games in person. Links for those events can be found on the respective sports' schedule on
