OBERLIN, Ohio -- The Allegheny softball team dropped a pair of nonconference road bouts to Oberlin.Â
Kaylin Tang (Vienna, Va./South Lakes) and
Isabelle Wakefield (Sicklerville, N.J./Timber Creek) both went 2-for-3 at the plate in game one. Wakefield notched a team-high two RBIs. Tang,
Hayley Behr (Pittsburgh, Pa./North Hills) and
Hadley Horensky (Jefferson Hills, Pa./Seton LaSalle) all drove in a run.
In game two,
Paige Ziggas (Beaver, Pa./Beaver Area) and
Cameron Long (Midlothian, Va./Midlothian) recorded a team-best two RBIs. Tang and
Joplin Osgood (Coudersport, Pa./Coudersport) recorded 2-for-4 days at the plate. Â
Behr belted her second home run of the season in the nightcap.Â
Allegheny will open up North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) play with a doubleheader against Wooster on Saturday.
