MEADVILLE, Pa. -- The Allegheny softball team dropped a pair of North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) contests to Wooster on Saturday. 

In the first game, Kelly Lafferty (Suffolk, Va./Nansemond River) went 2-for-3 at the plate. Paige Ziggas (Beaver, Pa./Beaver Area) and Isabelle Wakefield (Sicklerville, N.J./Timber Creek) both notched a hit. 

Hadley Horensky (Jefferson Hills Pa./Seton LaSalle Catholic) accounted for the team's only run when she took advantage of a Wooster wild pitch and scored from third. 

In the second game, Kaylin Tang (Vienna Va./South Lakes) cleared the bases in the bottom of  the fifth inning when she roped a double down the left-field line that scored three runs. 

Kyleigh Cason (Virginia Beach, Va./Floyd E Kellam) also drove in a run in the bottom of the fifth with a single down the right-field line that brought Wakefield home from third. 

Allegheny continues its NCAC portion of the schedule with a doubleheader at Wooster on Sunday. First pitch is scheduled for 1 p.m.
