WOOSTER, Ohio -- The Allegheny softball team lost a pair of North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) games at Wooster on Sunday.Â
In game one,
Isabelle Wakefield (Sicklerville, N.J./Timber Creek) accounted for two of the three Allegheny runs with a double to center field that scored
Hayley Behr (Pittsburgh, Pa./North Hills) and
Cameron Long (Midlothian Va./Midlothian).Â
Behr, Wakefield,
Kaylin Tang (Vienna, Va./South Lakes) and
Hadley Horensky (Jefferson Hills, Pa./Seton LaSalle Catholic) all recorded hits during the first outing.Â
During the second game, Behr belted her third home run of the season by virtue of a two-run shot over the right field wall.Â
Long and
Kelly Lafferty (Suffolk, Va./Nansemond River) paced the offensive effort with a 2-for-3 day at the plate each.Â
Allegheny is scheduled to continue NCAC play with a doubleheader at Hiram on Thursday. First pitched is slated for 3:30 pm.Â
