MEADVILLE, Pa. -- The Allegheny women's tennis team returned to the court to open the Spring 2021 season, dropping a 9-0 home match against Carnegie Mellon.

The Gators had a close match at first doubles, which saw Gaby DeLeon (Weatherford, Texas/Weatherford) and Katherine Marks (Argyle, Texas/Liberty Christian) fall 8-5.

Allegheny is set to return to the court when it opens North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) play with a pair of weekend matches against Wooster on Sat.-Sun., April 10-11. The first day will take place in Ohio at 1 pm, while the second will return to Meadville, also with a 1 pm start.
