WOOSTER, Ohio -- The Allegheny baseball team dropped a pair of North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) road contests to Wooster.Â
In game one,
Luke Chutko (Pittsburgh, Pa./North Hills) and
Tyler Hettich (Sarver, Pa./Freeport) each recorded a multi-hit performance with both going 2-for-3 at the plate.Â
Brett Heckert (Wexford, Pa./North Allegheny) and
Seth Reisman (Fayetteville, N.Y./Fayetteville-Manlius) tallied an RBI.Â
During the second game, Heckert hit his second home run of the season over the left-field wall in the top of the fourth inning.Â
Ryan Dougherty (Wexford, Pa./North Allegheny) paced the offensive effort, registering a 2-for-3 day at the plate and driving in two runs.
Brayden Cartwright (New Castle, Pa./New Castle) also tallied two RBIs with a single through the left side in the top of the third inning.Â
Allegheny will continue with NCAC competition on Thursday against Hiram. First pitch from the Robertson Athletic Complex is scheduled for 12 p.m.
