DELAWARE, Ohio -- Allegheny fell on the road in North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) action at Ohio Wesleyan, 3-0 (27-25, 25-17, 25-20).
The loss drops the Gators to 14-6 overall and 2-3 in the NCAC.
Cheyenne Wilson (Chico, Calif./Pleasant Valley) and
Emma Chambers (Stoutsville, Ohio/Amanda Clearcreek) paced the attack with eight kills apiece.
Olivia D'Andrea (Pittsburgh, Pa./Serra Catholic) directed the offense for 22 assists.
Defensively, Wilson and
Taylor Besch (Chicago, Ill./Resurrection) were in double digits for digs at 11 and 10, respectively.
India McCruter (Columbus, Ohio/Hilliard Davidson) paced the team with six blocks, while
Kendall Crum (Chattanooga, Tenn./Girls Preparatory) had five and Wilson and
Dagney Javes (Frederick, Colo./Dawson School) each posted four.
Allegheny will continue NCAC play on Tuesday, Oct. 19 when it travels to Hiram for a 7 p.m. match.
