GREENCASTLE, Ind. -- The Allegheny men's basketball played the second game of its North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) back-to-back in Indiana, dropping a 76-62 decision at DePauw.
With the loss, the Gators slip to 11-10 overall and 5-9 in conference action heading into the final two weeks of the regular season.
Senior
Jordan Rawls (Pittsburgh, Pa./Taylor Allderdice) moved within 36 points of tying the program's career scoring record, as he put up 16 points on the afternoon, including a perfect 10-for-10 showing at the free-throw line. He also posted five boards in the defeat.
The duo of
Brian Roberts, Jr. (Copley, Ohio/Copley) and
Keeno Holmes (Pittsburgh, Pa./Lincoln Park) also put up double digits in the contest, with 11 apiece.
Nijon Kirkman (Cleveland, Ohio/John Hay) narrowly missed another double-double, scoring nine points and hauling in 10 rebounds. Behind a pair of three-pointers,
Jordan Greynolds (Barberton, Ohio/Barberton) scored eight points, and also contributed seven rebounds and four helpers.
Allegheny, which has four games left in the regular season, continues NCAC action at Oberlin on Wednesday, Feb. 12. Tip-off in Ohio is set for 8 p.m.
