MEADVILLE, Pa. -- The Allegheny Department of Athletics and Recreation has announced a new student-athlete development series, which will kick off with a pair of presentations in the coming weeks.

On Sunday, October 18, the featured speaker will be Eric Kapitulik from The Program who will discuss, 'Leadership & Attacking Adversity,' while on Sunday, November 1, student-athletes will hear leadership coach Donna Fishter from Donna Fishter Consulting present on, 'Showing Up for Yourself in Game and Life.'

About the Presenters:
Eric Kapitulik is the Founder and CEO of The Program. Eric matriculated at the United States Naval Academy where he was a four-year letter player on the Division I men's lacrosse team. After graduation from the Naval Academy, Eric went on to serve in the United States Marine Corps as both an Infantry and Special Operations Officer. After leaving active duty, Eric received his MBA from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.

Donna Fishter is a leadership coach and team architect with over 20 years of coaching experience. In 2013 she left collegiate coaching to focus entirely on leadership training and culture development for coaches, teams and athletes. She is a certified Leadership Coach with the John Maxwell Coaching Team, has been a regular speaker at the United Soccer Coaches convention, guest on leadership/coaching podcasts and an instructor for U.S. Soccer.
