WOOSTER, Ohio -- Allegheny saw five players reach double figures on the night, but it wasn't enough as the Gators dropped an 84-79 decision at Wooster.
The loss snaps a three-game winning streak for the Blue & Gold against the Fighting Scots and drops the Gators to 3-7 in the North Coast Athletic Conference and 7-12 overall.
Rylee Donovan (Glenshaw, Pa./Shaler) led Allegheny with 19 points off the bench. She also added four rebounds, four assists and three blocks.
Jenna Manke (Freeport, Pa./Freeport) recorded a career high 16 points on 8-of-11 from the field, while also finishing second on the team with seven boards.
Three starters reached double digits, headed by
Julianna Skowron (Sewickley, Pa./Oakland Catholic) with 15 points and eight rebounds before fouling out.
Zoe Soilis (Sarver, Pa./Freeport) contributed 11 points and
Alexis Caldwell (Whitefish Bay, Wis./Whitefish Bay) added 10.
For the game, Allegheny made 52.4 percent (33-of-63) shots from the field, the second-best percentage of the season.Â
The Gators will have a nine-day layoff before hosting No. 4 DePauw at 6 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 7.
