MEADVILLE, Pa.—The Allegheny College men's tennis team picked up their sixth sweep of the season as they defeated Westminster College Sunday (April 7).
Colton Johnson Taylor (Apple Valley, Minn./Apple Valley) and
Zach Anderson (Belle Mead, N.J./Montgomery) had a clean 8-0 sweep at first doubles.
Ewan Malenfant (Dover, Del./Saint Thomas More) and
Benny Gantrish (Tilton, N.H./Tilton) collected an 8-2 win at second doubles, while
Mackenzie Knowlton (Toronto, Ont./Niagara Academy of Tennis) and
Aden Salim (Silver Spring, Md./The Barrie School) won 8-4 at third doubles.
Wonjoon Cho (Wichita, Kan./Wichita Collegiate School) collected a 6-1, 6-0 win at first singles.
Matt Andrus (Erin, Ont./Erin District) at second singles and
Cooper Miller (Falconer, N.Y./Falconer Central) at third singles both won with 6-0, 6-0 sweeps. Malenfant picked up his second win of the day with a 6-1, 6-2 victory at fourth singles.
Fabrizzio Reategui (Boca Rotan, Fla./Boca Raton Prep International) won 6-3, 6-0 at fifth singles, while
David Salazar II (Newsburgh, N.Y./Newsburgh Free Academy) won 6-2, 6-0 at sixth singles to close the match.
The Gators wrap-up their current four game homestand Monday (April 8) against Thiel College.
