INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.- The Allegheny College women's tennis team opened the 2019 North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) Championships against top-seeded Kenyon College in Indianapolis Friday (April 26).

The Ladies, who entered ranked second in the Central Region and 13
th nationally, won 5-0.

At first doubles,
Amanda Ress Liere (Middle Island, N.Y./Longwood) and
Miharu Koh (Tokyo, Japan/Monta Vista (Calif.)) faced Erika Oku and Maggie Sweeny. The Kenyon duo are currently ranked first in the region. The Gators won a pair of games but ultimately fell 8-2.

The Gators are back in action Saturday (April 27) when they play in the seventh-place match against Ohio Wesleyan University.
