INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. -- The Allegheny College women's tennis team played Ohio Wesleyan University Saturday (April 27) in the seventh-place game at the 2019 North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) Championships.
The Battling Bishops won 5-0.
At first doubles,
Amanda Ress Liere (Middle Island, N.Y./Longwood) and
Miharu Koh (Tokyo, Japan/Monta Vista (Calif.)) fell 8-1. Both second and third doubles matches ended with 8-2 scores. The Battling Bishops won the fifth and sixth single flight to end the match at 5-0.
The Gators end their season with an 8-13 overall record.
