MEADVILLE, Pa. – The Allegheny College women's tennis team hosted 12^th-ranked Kenyon College in North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) play Sunday (April 14).
 
Kenyon won the match 9-0. The Ladies entered Meadville ranked second in the Central Region and 12^th in the country. 
 
At first singles, Miharu Koh (Tokyo, Japan/Monta Vista (Calif.)) faced Daria Beshentseva, ranked 16^th in the region. Beshentseva won the match 6-0, 6-2.
 
At second doubles, Hannah Schaffer (Pittsburgh, Pa./Fox Chapel) and Satori Chin (Philadelphia, Pa./Friends Central) took on Erika Oku and Anna Winslow.  Oku is currently half of the top-ranked doubles team in the region.  Oku and Winslow won 8-0.
 
The Gators are back in action Wednesday (April 17) when they travel to Washington & Jefferson for a non-conference match.
