WOOSTER, Ohio—The Allegheny College men's tennis team fell in North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) action Saturday (April 13) to the College of Wooster.
The Fighting Scots won the match 8-1.
With the loss, the Gators fall to 10-7 overall and 0-1 in NCAC play. Wooster improved to 7-10 overall and 1-2 in NCAC play.
Allegheny picked up a win at first doubles. The team of
Matt Andrus (Erin, Ont./Erin District) and
Wonjoon Cho (Wichita, Kan./Wichta Collegiate School) faced Alon Lieberman and Joaquin Abos Amo. The Gator duo were able to break multiple times as they rolled to an 8-4 win.
The Gators are back in action Sunday (April 14) when they host 11
th-ranked Kenyon College on Senior Day in Meadville.
