MEADVILLE, Pa.- The Allegheny women's soccer team fell to Denison, 3-0, in North Coast Athletic Conference action on Saturday (Oct. 5).

Back and forth play led to a Denison goal in the 28th minute as Meg Rogan scored off a pass from Victoria Nielson towards the top of the 18 yard box.

Two goals in the second half at the 52nd and 68th minutes for Denison yielded the final result.

Shannon McGuinn (Warminster, Pa./William Tennant) led the offense with two shots, while Jordan Mehalko (Bethel Park, Pa./Bethel Park) and Taylor Renk (Cranberry Township, Pa./Oakland Catholic) each added one.

Maya Hackman (Derry, Pa./Derry Area) made five saves as the Allegheny keeper.

The Gators are back in action on Wednesday (Oct. 9) when they host Westminster in a nonconference showdown.
