WOOSTER, Ohio—The Allegheny volleyball team wrapped up North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) play Tuesday (Oct. 29) at the College of Wooster.
The Fighting Scots collected the 3-0 win 25-16, 25-14, 25-19. With the win, the Fighting Scots improved to 11-14 overall and 4-4 in NCAC play while the Gators dropped to 5-20 overall and 0-8 in NCAC play.
Jyl Russotti (Rochester, N.Y./Bishop Kearney) led the way for the Gators offensively as she tallied a team-high five kills.
Elizabeth Debich (Leechburg, Pa./Kiski Area) had four kills while
Olivia D'Andrea (Pittsburgh, Pa./Serra Catholic) and
Kristiana Hardisty (Camarillo, Calif./Rancho Campana) had three apiece. D'Andrea led the Gators with nine assists while
Raelynn Dorscheid (Macedon, N.Y./Penfield) had seven. Dorscheid also added an ace.
Rebecca MacQuarrie (Waterford, Pa./Fort Lebeouf) had a team-high 12 digs to lead the Gator defense.
Kate Christie (Schenectady, N.Y./Niskayuna) had nine digs while D'Andrea and
Taylor Besch (Chicago, Ill./Ressurection) had seven each.
Jillian Kirby (Cincinnati, Ohio/Clermont Northeastern) had a pair of blocks.
The Gators conclude the regular season on Senior Day Friday (Nov. 1) as they play host to Penn State Behrend, a rematch from earlier in the season.
