MEADVILLE, Pa. - The Allegheny volleyball team concluded the 2019 season with a 3-1 (25-18, 19-25, 25-21, 25-17) loss to Penn State Behrend on Friday (Nov. 1).
Offensively,
Kristiana Hardisty (Camarillo, Calif./Rancho Campana) led the team with 9 kills.
Jyl Russotti (Rochester, N.Y./Bishop Kearney) and
Kendall Crum (Chattanooga, Tenn./Girls Preparatory) followed with eight apiece.
Senior
Raelynn Dorscheid (Macedon, N.Y./Penfield) aided the offense with 17 assists, her seventh 15+ showing of the 2019 campaign.
Olivia D'Andrea (Pittsburgh, Pa./Serra Catholic) added 15, to go along with 13 digs.
Russotti used a career-high nine blocks to lead the Gator defense to a total of 18.
Elizabeth Debich (Leechburg, Pa./Kiski Area) also notched a career-high with five blocks.
Rebecca MacQuarrie (Waterford, Pa./Fort LeBouef) anchored the defense with 25 digs, giving her a total of 503, the most in the North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) for the 2019 season. MacQuarrie also averaged 5.53 digs per set, which placed her at second in the conference and 48th in Division III.Â
Kate Christie (Schenectady, N.Y./Niskayuna) joined D'Andrea and MacQuarrie with double-digit digs as she tallied a season-high 12.
