MEADVILLE, Pa. - The Allegheny men's soccer team fell to North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) opponent DePauw on Saturday (Oct. 26) by a score of 1-0.
The Allegheny seniors,

Once play began, the Gators and Tigers engaged in a back-and-forth battle that remained gridlocked at 0-0 for the entirety of the first half. In the second half, DePauw finally broke through as Gustavo Kasmanas collected a loose ball in the box and lifted it into the net in the 48th minute.
Opalko provided most of the offense on the day as he took three shots, including one in the fourth minute that required a diving safe to keep the Gators off the board.
Danny Reid (Lyme, Conn./Lyme-Old Lyme) took the other shot for Allegheny.
Ferreira made six saves during the match as he served as the Gators' keeper.
Allegheny heads out on its final road trip of the 2019 regular season with a stop at Wooster on Wednesday (Oct. 30) before wrapping up the regular season at Wittenberg next Saturday (Nov. 2).
