GREENCASTLE, Ind. - The Allegheny field hockey team dropped its North Coast Athletic Conference match versus DePauw on Sunday (Oct. 13) by a score of 3-1.
Kinsley Greenlaw (Fredericksburg, Va./Stafford) scored her first goal of the season to give Allegheny the early lead. In the fourth minute, Greenlaw collected a pass in the circle from
Becca Winton (Carlisle, Pa./Carlisle) and planted it in the goal.
Vivian Super (Granville, Ohio/Granville) then also added a shot.
Defensively, three separate Gators made defensive saves.
Emma Anderson (Rochester, N.Y./Brighton),
Danielle Thompson (Eden, N.Y./Eden), and
Kierstin Faw (Sellersville, Pa./Pennridge) each made stops to add to Allegheny's 16 total.
Heather Amancio (San Diego, Calif./Patrick Henry) made a season-high 10 saves, while
Hallie Reiger (Oklahoma City, Okla./Casady) added three more.
The Gators return home for the final nonconference matchup of the regular season as they host Washington & Jefferson on Tuesday (Oct. 15) at 6:00 p.m.
