MEADVILLE, Pa. -- The Gators' fourth-quarter rally fell short in a 77-68 North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) women's basketball loss at the Wise Center on Wednesday, Jan. 9.
Allegheny outscored Hiram, 24-14, in the fourth quarter, but couldn't overcome the 63-44 deficit it entered the period with.
Zoe Soilis led four Gators in double figures with 17 points, her third game in double digits this season and the second-largest amount she's chipped in this year. The junior also led the team with nine steals.
Delaney Arbore and
Kaylah Pinkney each scored 15 points and both knocked down a pair of three-pointers. Pinkney tied for second on the squad with six boards.
Rylee Donovan scored 11 points, plus dished out a game-best eight assists and also pulled down six rebounds.
Julianna Skowron had eight points and a team-leading nine boards.
Allegheny returns to the Wise Center court to host Denison on Senior Citizen Day this Saturday, Jan. 12. Tip-off is set for 1 p.m.
