MEADVILLE, Pa. --
Julianna Skowron scored 19 points and pulled down seven offensive rebounds, but the Allegheny women's basketball team dropped a 76-55 North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) decision to Denison at the Wise Center on Saturday, Jan. 12.
The seven offensive boards for Skowron matched her season high which she accomplished as part of a 15-rebound effort at Grove City in December. Against Denison, the sophomore finished with nine total boards. Her 19 points came as she shot an impressive 9-of-12 from the field, matching her career high of nine made field goals.
Rylee Donovan had nine points, five rebounds and three assists, while
Delaney Arbore made 6-of-7 free throws to add eight points, plus three rebounds and two blocks.
Bailey Matrascia had four points and two boards off the bench, while five total Gators had three rebounds.
The Gators will hit the road to break up the current stretch of four home games out of five dates when they travel to Oberlin for a 6 p.m. tip-off on Wednesday, Jan. 16.
