GAMBIER, Ohio -- The Gators fell behind early and were unable to recover as they stumbled in North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) action at Kenyon, 70-51.

With the loss, the Allegheny women's basketball team falls to 5-9 on the season and 1-4 in the NCAC.

Against Kenyon, Rylee Donovan and Delaney Arbore tied for the game high with 15 points apiece, while Donovan led all players with three steals and two blocks. Both players, along with Kaylah Pinkney, knocked down two three-pointers in the loss. Pinkney tied Zoe Soilis and Julianna Skowron for the team high with five rebounds apiece.

The Gators will be back in action at the David V. Wise Center twice this coming week, beginning with a 6 p.m. meeting against Hiram on Wednesday, Jan. 9.
