COLUMBUS, Ohio—The Allegheny College men's tennis team faced off against Ohio Wesleyan University on the road Sunday (April 8) in North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) play.
The Battling Bishops picked up the win 8-1.
The Gators win came at second singles as
Colton Johnson Taylor took on Diego Venegas Vargas. Venegas picked up a 6-2 win in the opening set. In the second set, Johnson Taylor bounced back and broke en route to a 6-4. The second set Gator win forced a super tiebreaker in the third set. Johnson Taylor was dominant in the tiebreaker as he won 10-1.
Allegheny is back in action Wednesday (April 11) at home against Penn State – Behrend in nonconference action.
