Late Goal Spoils NCAC Opener for Gators

MEADVILLE, Pa.—The Allegheny College men's soccer team fell in a close battle at home to Denison University, 3-2, Saturday (Sept. 23) in their North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) opener.

The Gators continued to attack the Denison defense, leading to a goal in the 26th minute. A Reid corner kick from the far side bounced around the box.  After Dillon Thoma got a foot on it, it bounced back to Miller at the top of the box who buried to give the Gators the lead.

In the 83rd minute, Zamora kicked a low cross into the box, find the foot of Will Rudolph for the third straight Denison goal, giving them the lead.
