Allegheny women's tennis player Meggie Oravec went 1-2 in singles play during the week. As the Gators' sixth singles player, she played in three matches that went the distance -- either to a third set or a super breaker.

Oravec's lone victory came against Albion's Katherine Batten. She won 6-7 (5-7), 6-1, 6-2.

Oravec also dropped close matches to Kalamazoo's Kate Farwell, 7-5, 5-7, 6-4, and Case Western's Corey Bowen, 6-4, 1-6, 10-5.
