Allegheny junior Tony Dipre placed third in the men's mile at the National Collegiate Athletic Association Division III Track & Field Championships, claiming his second straight All-America honor in the event.

Dipre crossed the finish line in 4:11.92 behind national champion Ryan Guarino of Fredonia (4:09.99) and runner-up Will Yochum of Amherst (4:11.31).

Dipre was an All-American last season in the indoor mile when he placed eighth. This is his third overall All-Division III honor. He placed 25th at the D-III Cross Country Championships in 2008 to earn his first.
