Joe Killian led the Gators to a pair of victories to open up the 2016 season. In Wednesday's season-opening 7-0 win over John Carroll, the senior third baseman went 3-for-5 with a run scored. He followed that up with a monster afternoonon Saturday against Fredonia, as he went 5-for-5, with three singles, a double, and a home run, while driving in five RBIs and scoring twice in the Gators' 12-2 win. On the week, he batted .800 (8-for-10) with a 2.100 OPS, while not committing an error in four chances in the field.
