At the Carnegie Mellon Indoor Invitational, sophomore Emily Forner placed first in a 35-runner field in the 3,000 meter run with a time of 10:19.94 to win by over two seconds. It was a personal best time for Forner, while it also marked the sixth-best performance in the event in team history. Forner was one of three Gators to place in the top five, and four in the top-10 of the event at the SPIRE Institute.
