Sarah Moss earned the first All-North Coast Athletic Conference honor in the heptathlon for the Gators in over six years, as she took third in the event at the NCAA Multi's Championship. With a score of 4,187 in the seven-discipline event, Moss posted the highest finish for a Gator athlete at the Multi's since 2008.
Moss posted career-best performances in four of the seven events, eclipsing the 4,000-point mark for the second consecutive season. She finished no lower than fourth in any of the seven events, highlighted by her effort in the shot put, as her throw of 10.06 meters was good for second in the field, and bettered her previous personal record by nearly one meter.
She also set new personal marks in the 200 meter dash (27.31 seconds), the long jump (4.82 meters), and the javelin throw (27.57 meters), while her times of 16.20 in the 100 meter hurdles and 2:27.84 in the 800 meter run were both her best of the 2014 campaign.
