Allegheny senior Dan Cheung was named the 2016 Great Lakes Runner of the Year after placing first at Saturday's Regional Championship in Michigan with a winning time of 24:44, good for a seven second victory. Led by Cheung topping the 236-runner field, the Gators placed second as a team, and earned an automatic berth into the Nov. 19 NCAA Division III National Championship.
