Christian Miranda turned in a pair of All-North Coast Athletic Conference performances as the NCAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships.  On day one of the event, the Allegheny junior took third in the javelin with a throw of 55.87 meters, the second-best performance of his career.  He followed that up by winning the NCAC championship in the hammer throw with a throw of 52.17 meters.  It marked a career-best for Miranda, and the second furthest throw in program history.  He became the second Gator in as many seasons to win the conference hammer throw championship, while it marked his second conference title of the 2015-16 year, after taking gold at the NCAC Indoor Championships in the weight throw.
