Shick finished a four-game sweep over Hiram with four home runs, a .500 batting average, six RBI and a 1.222 slugging percentage to lead an immensely efficient Gator offense in the cleanup spot. The junior started the series by going 3-for-5 with a double and home run in a 5-1 win for the Gators, scoring another run in the Gators' 7-4 win in game two. But it was Sunday in which the sophomore truly shined, batting 2-for-3 with a home run in the Gators' 9-3 win before launching two blasts, batting 3-for-6 with four RBI and three runs scored, including the go-ahead, two-run rocket that brought the Gators back from a 7-0 deficit for a 15-7, sweep-clinching win.Â
